Oh my.  Georgie brought home his first contribution to "family dinner" night before last.  A small rabbit.  Of course, he had eaten half of it before he called me out to see what he had brought!!!  I praised him and prayed it would be gone when I got up yesterday morning! It was.  I think he was quite proud of himself for catching something big enough he could share it with Mommy.  LOL

The only live catch in the house was by Miss Molly during her first year here.  She showed up on the foot of my bed holding a mouse in her mouth.  At first I though it was one of her toys....wrong!!  I got her to follow me to the kitchen with it and caught it when she let go of it and took it outside!  Spent the next day filling up every possible entry point to the house!!!  Haven't seen any since.

George seemed to enjoy his fresh kill and was sure proud of himself!!

Georgie must be a big cat to get a rabbit.

DS had a cat that used to bring in live chipmunks.  One day R called him and said there was a lump in the couch and when she touched it, it squeaked!

I'm having a hard time letting Sophie go because I didn't protect her.  DS has two cats and a dog, but they aren't mine.

Have a great day and give Georgie a pat for me.
