Who would have thought?

Penney's is doing away with sales.....they are opting for just plain lower prices.

I have been shopping a JCP again for the past couple of years and sometimes they actually have had lower prices!

I read that, too. I haven't shopped in a Penney's store for years since we don't have one in our town. I have a feeling that they are "hurting" just like a lot of other stores and are just trying to get some free press by putting out this policy. I hope they last!

We had a JCP near by but the prices were so high that with kids I just couldn't afford to go in there. And the people that run the place, well I always felt like I was going into some up scale Bevery Hills place that I didn't belong....I don't know if you know what I mean......

But then it was sold and I started going in there a little but mostly bought from the catalog....

And since I spent most of my married life having to buy from catalogs.....I absolutly hate trying on in the store..After a couple things I am ready to just go home...it is stress I don't like to put on my husband....lol....

I think I will like shopping at JCP without having to hurry, hurry, hurry because sale ends tomorrow or only 2 hours left.......
