4 more years of President Obama...disappointed or nervous

At one time I was an Obama fan but no longer am. I wasn't disappointed to see that he had won but I was hoping for change so I am not sure what I really wanted. I am really nervous about what his healthcare plan is going to do to my life (I'm seeing horrible rate increases already) but otherwise, I am not unhappy with him. I guess all in all, what I really feel is nervousness. Anyone else feeling this way?

What is the cost of "Obamacare?"  The Republicans have tried to make it an issue but they have never offered any facts and figures to back it up.  The reason they haven't is because they can't.  The President's plan is closely modeled on Romney's own state's plan, that has been in place for sdeveral years.  The people of Massachusetts are, for the most part, quite happy with their health plan. and they are getting good quality care.

I think the biggest problem is that there is so much disagreement on exactly what is 'best' for the country.  I personally don't think taking more money out of my paycheck to give to someone who won't work is 'best' for anyone but the person getting money I worked to earn for nothing.  NOTE - I did NOT say I have a problem helping those unable to provide for themselves or our military personnel or the elderly who frequently rely on assistance to make ends meet.  Don't tell me there are not  people out there who manipulate the system and take advantage of their social status to get something for nothing - I've personally lived right next-door to 2 welfare moms who were EXACTLY like that.  I also know how hard the 'system' makes it for people who have genuine need of assistance but happen to be the wrong ethnic catagory so getting that assistance takes years.  I personally have been told by the people in the Health and Human services office in the county where I own my home (note I said own, not rent, not am buying but OWN my home) I am the wrong color for benefits of a welfare nature.  My house burned down in 2003 and I was 'allowed' food stamp assistance for my 2 children for 1 year, and then I was told I should be back on my feet so there would be no further assistance.  The biggest problem I have with welfare benefits are the  way the dicision is made who is 'entitled' to have them.  I say - if I am the 'right' color that you can take money from my check to help someone else in need, then when I am in need I should also be the 'right' color to recieve assistance from someone else.  That is .NOT the way the system currently works.  Right now all it takes is one bigot in a Human Services office and your children go hungry while someone else who has made a liftime of sucking on the public funds never has to work.  You can blast me all you like about 'toeing a party line' but I am NOT that person.  I don't vote strictly republican, but rarely democratic since the democrats in the county where I live have made it so obvious - they are there to help others not me.  I actually prefer libertarian candidates and wish this 2 party system in this country were not so broken.  I do not anticipate any improvement ever.  But then - I'm the one praying for death because nothing ever looks great from where I am.

If only Obama would just quit. I'm in agreement with whoever said that we are not safe. I hate to be rude, but I don't trust Obama.
