The economy has stalled

I been seeing on the news that experts are saying the economy has stalled and they are surprised. They are blaming things on the weather. I don't get it. I am not the most educated person but I could tell we weren't getting anywhere. Nobody has any money and peoples getting there hours cut at work. Why is it we at the bottom notice this kind of thing but those in charge don't. Are they trying to convince us things are not as bad as we think they are?

I'm not so sure things are as bad as you might think. I am seeing far more job openings available in my area though they are more 30 hours a week or lower wages. I think that may be a sign though that better things are coming.

Kay, I think the real problem is that the recovery has not been uniform. Some areas and occupations are going great while others are still failing. Just look at the lastest housing statistics. If you want to live in San Francisco you had beeter have a high income or you won't be able to rent anything. 45 miles away where I live is one of 100 toens with the most houses still underwater. To me there doesn't look like much of a recovery but to the people two counties over it looks much rosier. I frankly don't know what the answer is. I think there are so many things systemicly wrong. I guess that I am glad that I am retired now and trying to live on a pension. People coming behind me won't have that I am afraid.
