I have been cleaning houses for years and business is going good but i am thinking I would like to try something new. My daughter is trying to talk me into signing up for a progrm at the community college to learn how to an office assistant. Of course anyone who tries ot read my typing knows i have a long ways to go but I am really giving this much thought now that the seed is planted. I would really like to try this but I am going to be 50 years old next year. Has anyone done anything like this at this age? How did it work out?

GO FOR IT!! I say if you have the desire, time, and can afford it, then give it a try. You really have nothing to lose and if you take a few classes here and there year round then you'll be done in no time. I went back to school to get a business degree at 48. I am still a few classes away but I absolutely love going to school. I feel like I have to study harder than I used when I was much younger but one of my professional friends told me that it isn't that I have to study harder, it's that I am doing it right this time.

Good luck!
