How long does it take you to get back into the swing of things after a holiday?

I usually take one day after a holiday to just catch up on things at home in the morning, then start catching up on things for work in the afternoon so that when the holiday is officially over and I start work again I know what's been happening.

The situation is different now, though with the new business. When I can, I stay in touch and I do things so that we can keep things moving from my end (there are only 4 of us.) Yesterday I was out-of-town for family reasons, but took time to reply to a few emails, and I woke up early this morning to catch up on some reading that I need to do in preparation for a Skype meeting in an hour. In August I take another long week-end off, but I'll also be working a bit, too. I'm searching for a new balance.

That's why I listen to a lot of audiobooks and podcasts - if I can't physically read with an old-style book in my hands, I can listen to an audiobook in the car during my commute or on the way somewhere.

Where are you at in finding your new balance? I am simply gobsmacked by the amount of time I now don't have to do other things LOL! In my life, work and private lives mesh very closely, and always have since the very beginning with my first job. Right now I just want to find the time and discipline to exercise!
