It's Friday again!

Honestly, I sometimes wonder what I've done with my days. It seems that it was Friday not that long ago... and now it's Friday again.

What are your week-end plans? Are you staying home or do you have plans to go out?

Do you do the bulk of your household chores on the week-end? What about your grocery shopping?

*one* mite did all that damage? Really? Does your other furbaby have to go to the vet to find out if s/he has the same kind of mite? Are the meds starting to work a little bit?

Hi Poppy,
Thanks for your help w/ ff . will check that in a bit.
This of course is a *rare* mite, LOL
And in cats it is shared/contagious ..
So we are treating both dogs.
Never a dull moment :)

Hi Poppy,
Well I have them on the side for now in ff & IE,
Not sure hw to get them up top but that's okj.
Am afraid to do much or I might lose everything on the side ::blush::
Oldest DS will be home next month so will wait for his help.
One thing I will try to do is use a bookmark for my home page.

The vet visit went ok,
they found 1 *rare* mite & so are treating for that.
Course it can take up to 2 months for the meds to work ::sigh::
Hoping it does & sooner than that.
Thanks Poppy :)

I was reading about your haunted hotel. There is a show on tv ...Ghost Hunters on
Sci Fi channel. Wonder if they ever went there to investigate. They love to go to
haunted places.

Nancy, please let us know how the tour went! How so very cool!

There's an old hotel in East Java which is apparently haunted, and no amount of exorcising was able to make the ghosts move away. It's a beautiful art deco mansion designed by a Brazilian architect for a local sugar king. The ghosts are those of star-crossed lovers, a family member of the sugar king (a brother if I recall correctly) and the French governess...

I don't like anything on the side, Hugs, so I have to click on the bookmark function at the top of the browser. I group bookmarks by how I work/view sites. There's on for news sites, there's one for iVillage boards. Grouping them means that I put them in the same folder under bookmarks. News and iVillage used to be one group until it got really, really big with 16 pages at one go ;-)

In FF, when you are changing the option for your homepage (the page that the browser opens up to when you start it), it gives you three options - use current pages, use bookmarks, use default. Just click on use bookmarks, find the appropriate folder and click that. On my mother's laptop for example, when she opens FF it automatically goes to 8 news sites. All she needs to do is for each to load, then read.

I tried looking at IE just now, but it crashed on me within 5 minutes. The last time I used IE was a few years ago...

I hope the visit to the vet went well!

I hope that the Giants win, Sweetrose! Which movies are you going to watch this week-end?
