KK wants to know whether you still send snail-mail letters or cards to people or not.

And is your handwriting still as nice today as it was a few years ago? Do you often write with a pen or do you type everything out?

Yes, I do. I have been writing to pen pals since I was 15 and there are some people whom I write to who still prefer to receive letters and cards in the mail. I also write to my best friend through the mail (though we remain in touch mostly through e-mail and Facebook).

I do have to type out my letters, though. If I did hand write them no one would be able to read it. My handwriting was never really nice and it's gotten a lot worse because of my fibromyalgia. But it doesn't bother my pen pals that I type out my letters. What's important to them is that I took the time to write a letter instead of sending off an e-mail.

I only type on the computer.

My handwriting (really printing) is the same for the most part.
Still prefer to write things out as opposed to type :)

Nancy, that is really wonderful (and rare!) to have been pen pals with someone for such a long time. Wow! I admire you!

It does mean a lot when someone takes the time to write - and for me it doesn't matter if the letter was typed or handwritten.

I have to confess that as much as I love receiving snail mail that aren't bills or promotional materials, I am so very bad at sending letters, cards and postcards. I just have this thing about going to the post office!

Oh how cool to have relatives in Hawaii and that you are sending snail mail! Have you ever visited them?

My handwriting has changed, too. As a high school friend of mine once commented, my handwriting went from very neat to very messy LOLOL! Have you noticed how your handwriting changes according to the pencil or pen you are using or is that just me?

Hugs, I also prefer to write things out but right now it's much quickly for me to type it out on the computer!

I write out important stuff, though.

Hi Poppy...Our relatives visit us in California. Things are cheaper with food and clothes, etc.

Pens are so fast , so the writing goes faster. I think pencils can slow me down unless I write light.

This week I need to send a couple of postcard to a couple of little girls. Little steps, right, Hugs?

Sweetrose, do your relatives make time to shop for things that are cheaper in California? A friend of mine who lives in Europe does that when she comes here especially with clothes and summer shoes for her kids.

Pens are fast but I actually like writing with a pencil when I am using my notebook!
