Liberal or Conservative: Study Finds Childhood Influence

Did you talk back to your parents? It may have influenced whether or not you are liberal or conservative. According to Health Day News, "A person's temperament in childhood and the type of parenting they received have a major effect on their political beliefs, according to a new study...The researchers found that children with authoritarian parents were more likely to have conservative political beliefs when they were 18, while those with egalitarian parents were more likely to have liberal beliefs." more

In theory it makes sense, but I completely break the mold. I should have more conservative beliefs, according to the article, when in fact I'm more liberal in my thinking.
Yep, makes total sense to me too. My mom is more liberal. My dad, however, is more conservative in his beliefs. I fall someplace in the middle. LOL!
