ARG! Passwords, passwords. It seems like I have a million log ins to various things all needing passwords! I know I can't be the only one so, How do you keep track of all your passwords?

Well, it's about time that I change passwords right now. Sigh. I usually do it in bunches. When I change my email passwords, I change all of them and make it a habit to visit all the sites every day so that I don't forget. Then I'll change the passwords for other sites that I visit regularly.

I try to not have anything in writing. If I do, it's buried somewhere where no one can find it (including me at times!)

Do you have passwords that you reuse for various things or do you create a new password each time?

Some I do reuse; I switch around on regular basis and add number or signs. The ones where there's a higher security I create a new password each time. It's always a word play of some kind, often funny, to help me remember. Plus the longer the password the more difficult it is to guess.

I have 2 different passwords and I just use those. Maybe slight variations on them if there are limits to how many charactors. But it seems like we do need a million!

I use different passwords for each site that I use.

I'm like several of you, I have 3 or 4 passwords and just alternate them around, with slight variations, when I need to change them.

I use a password manager, Roboform. I could not live without it but I still write everything down on a rolodex.

I try to use the same one most of the time and vary it by adding extra letters or numbers. It's VERY odd--I can't imagine anyone guessing it. But, I do tend to forget which variation I should use. Right now I have them in my planner.
