A Wednesday wondering...

Dmpalmer's post inspires this one.

Are you goal oriented?

What do you do to stay on track/what helps you stay focused on your goals?

Do you set realistic and achievable goals and deadlines, or do you have a pattern of setting yourself up for failure by trying to accomplish too much in too little time?

When you have a big goal, do you break these up into smaller ones?

Do you reward yourself?

I think notebooks are the best for keeping logs. A lot of people like online logs, but I like notebooks because they are always accessible and cheap! I sometimes use my iPod Touch to jot down stuff.

What do you read, Sweetrose?

I guess I'd better answer my own questions ;-)

Are you goal oriented? ~ Moderately so. It helps me focus, which is good since I have a pretty short attention span and am forgetful.

What do you do to stay on track/what helps you stay focused on your goals? ~ I make lists of the things that I should be doing.

Do you set realistic and achievable goals and deadlines, or do you have a pattern of setting yourself up for failure by trying to accomplish too much in too little time? ~ Mostly realistic and achievable ones. I've learned from my mistakes!

When you have a big goal, do you break these up into smaller ones? ~ Yes. Otherwise it gets discouraging and I'll abandon my goals.

Do you reward yourself? ~ I try.
