We've now got two profiles available to us, the iVillage profile and the Lithium profile (Lithium being the name of the new message board platform.)
The iVillage profile is pretty much like the old profile that we had, with information such as book recently read, something that you always have in your purse, etc. You can find your iVillage profile by clicking on your name at the very top of the page where the picture enthusiastic lady is. You can read someone else's profile by clicking on "see my iVillage profile" under their name on a topic.
The Lithium profile tracks your board activities and has some information about you. You can find your Lithium profile by clicking on your name or on your avatar picture in a topic (you can also read someone's Lithium profile by clicking on their name or their avatar.) I suggest that you right click when you do this, as the current set-up doesn't open up a new tab, window or pop-up to get you to the Lithium profile. If you click on mine, you'll see which boards I have posted on. If you click on yours, you'll see some additional information about you that no one else can see (e.g. I can't see your statistics but I can see mine.) You can also find drafts of posts that you've written (it autosaves within 30 seconds), your list of friends. When you friend a person it will mean that that person will be able to see whether you are online or not. Please note that ignoring a person no longer hides that person's posts, but only disables that person from Private Messaging you.
