I've been a pescatarian for about 6-7 years now and gave up chicken and turkey 3 years ago.  I mainly eat veggies and meat substitute only on occasion having fish or shell fish.  HOwever, lately I am craving chicken and turkey.  I was fine through the holiday's without having turkey...didn't even blink at it, but for some reason the last week I am having serious cravings, chicken more than the other.  I don't know if it is because some of the other dishes, like the stuffing, had broth in it and now it is in my system or what.  Any ideas?

Hi and welcome! Do you typically eat the same type things all the time? Perhaps you need to try some new recipes to spice things up again.

wish i new the answer to this. i think we are all diffrent. i've been following a vegan diet for 10 months now. i did eat meat on both holidays but i am not having a craving to go back to eating meat. i thought i was going to have a real hard time changing my way of eating but i seem to be doing well... i do go on line and get lots of great recipes, print them and have a pretty large book filled with my recipes. this week i made some candy, made with, egg whites, raw honey, and almonds.  pretty tasty.  wish i could help you solve your problem... best of luck.          suzy
