I must admit, I was thinking of stepping down as CL because I'm one of those people who is continuing to have problems with extreme slowness of board loading. But I'm giving it another try.
I'm glad to be past Christmas; my mom was horribly unwelcoming and I leaning towards saying I'm done with extended family meals unless they happen at a restaurant.
Does anyone have plans for New Years? Thankfully I don't drink champagne or wine because I'd have to go look up wines that are acceptable for vegetarians and vegans; did you know that some of them contain ingredients that make them non-veggie friendly?

I am sorry you did not have a good time with your mom. I do not have extended family that live close to me, so I had a vegan Christmas Eve dinner with my two children and a friend. We opened presents on Christmas Eve, as well.
