New Veggie, needing to change diet yet again

So 5 years ago I was very obese and I changed my diet and started walking 3 to 5 miles per day.
I cut out beef and pork but left in fish, turkey and chicken.
I went smart carb. No white flour or added sugars, mainly veggies, fruits, whole grains, chicken fish and turkey.
I lost half of my body weight in 2 years and I am still at a normal weight today.
Now I have moved to vegatarian and I am finding I have to re-include some things I cut out.
