Do you like squash? How often do you eat it? What is your favorite way of cooking it?

I like squash, I'd like to get my husband and son more interested in it so I can cook with it in a variety of ways.

Yummy! Had some at TGI Friday's Saturday. I love it grilled.

I like some squash... zucchini & yellow squash, but not others (like acorn squash, yuck). My favorite way to make/eat squash, besides adding it to recipes is to make zucchini bread.

I like all kinds of summer squash and eat it weekly when it's in season. I saute it with garlic and onions, I cook it in rattatouille, I cook it in stir fries... and if a zucchini gets too big, I stuff it!

Winter squash are eaten less frequently in our household, mainly because they take more time to prep and I'm lazy! Mainly I bake them stuffed or candy them like yams/sweet potatoes. There are four butternut squash in my pantry right now...

I love squash! Just about any kind. My recent discovery was steaming spaghetti squash and serving sauteed mixed mushrooms over it - a total comfort food!

I like a variety of squashes. All of the summer squashes I usually just steam in the microwave. This year I grew zucchini, Mexican zucchini (which is usually a little sweeter than regular zucchini) and a white scalloped squash.

I grew spaghetti squash which I love, and I also like butternut squash. I'll eat acorn squash but its not a favorite. I haven't tried any of the unusual looking winter squash like turban. I usually bake the winter squashes. I have a favorite recipe for butternut squash that involves baking it cubed, then tossing in a bowl with walnut oil, pomegranate arils, and a bit of maple syrup--yum!

I love squash, and make sure that there's zucchini at all times in the fridge. Butternut squash soup is a comfort food for me.

when I was growing up my dad was always growing different kinds of veggies to try but the one thing he never did was squashes....I had spagetti squash and I loved it so I am wondering if someone has a simple way to prepare for a meal? or can you do it in a casserole type dish? I am usually looking for something that I can put in the oven at a later time since I never know when anybody is going to be home due to work schedules, etc.... Susan
