Do you dress according to your age?

I clicked on an iVillage article about dressing for your age and got to wondering how everyone else dresses. I've always pretty much just chosen clothes on how they fit and look on me and not whether or not it may be age appropriate. Since I'm pretty tall my choices have always been limited anyways. Other than jeans (which I won't wear jeans with holes or that sit below my hip bones) I don't usually consider age when chosing clothing for me. Of course, It may be that I just don't have an interest in some of the latest younger styles. What about you-how do you chose clothing?

I have just the opposite problem I am short. Lots of things are too long for me and so I have to buy petites. I didn't used to pay much attention to dressing according to my age. But since hitting the big 60 I find I am more careful about what I buy. Things that might fit me but are made for someone much younger. I still pretty much go with what I like and what I feel looks good on me rather than age.

I saw that iVillage link and gave it a large round of indifference.

Dressing according to age is something that I think we all can agree upon on some level.
