Big time prayers needed!!!!!!

I got the results of the biopsies. Thyroid is ok but ............I do have Follicular Lymphoma. I have to call the oncologist tomorrow and make an appointment, then schedule a PET scan for next week. My doc also recommended a second opinion with a "lymphoma specialist downtown". I'll have to find out which place would be best, Northwestern, U. of C., Rush, Loyola, etc. and get an appt. there, too. Treatment depends on the stage. Depending on the stage and progression, the prognosis is from 1 to 20 years. I'm personally hoping for the latter.

Had cancer a couple of time and beat it twice.

I bet you do feel like you have hit head on with a truck. Sorry to hear the results... not good news but now we know and now we will pray for it to be at the early stages and that you will be ok for a very long time!

I am so sorry that you did not receive better news. I am sending you cyber hugs and many wishes for a positive outcome. It sounds like you have good doctors who will do everything they can for you. Just take it one step at a time, and like everyone else said, we are here for you!!
