Hi Indy Gmama here!

Just got a tooth pulled and now the dentist is telling me that things are such a mess I need to extract all my teeth and replace them.

Sounds like he is telling you that you either need some expensive dental work done. Dentures or it will be very exensive to get your teeth fixed. If you are not sure call his office back and as them to clear it up for you. Also getting second opinion is a good idea. Good luck.

I agree with Cheryl, get a second opinion before you have anything else done! What the dentist wants to do sounds awfully drastic and expensive.

Maybe, he meant that it would take a LOT more to 'fix' them and far more down the road to keep them?
