I do think we need reform when it comes to the post office.
I am from Canada and we have been without mail for a short while.
Amy, do you ever order online? How do packages come to you without the post for now if you have gotten any?
I was wondering the same thing.
It is not too much of a concern for that I don't think. People knew about the possibility of a postal strike for over a month so if there was anything that need to be ordered it could have been done in advance.
That would so stink Cheryl!
Are they part of the government or a separate entity, Amy?
We can get them locally, but it is cheaper to get name brands through the mail.
I live in Canada so it's been difficult.
They actually were locked out and now have been ordered back to work.
My dad sent me a letter weeks ago that I have been waiting for, he is eighty.
I like to write cards and letters and receive them.
My ds looksf forward to the mail to.
No mail delivery now for about three weeks...
One day as I waited for my bus the postal workers who were locked out of our local Post Office offered me a cold bottle of water some sunscreen and some shade.
I really appreciated their kindness.
Most people honked their horns in support.
These days I look forward to receiving ANY mail that they Canada Post deliver.
Nothing more exciting than checking your mail box and there is something in it...how absolutely cool!!!
