Do you get sick a lot? It seems to me that some people are sick all the time and others are never sick. I have allergy attacks every now and then but thankfully am not sick too often.

For those who are never sick, are you doing anything in particular to prevent illness or just lucky?

I don't get sick a lot, but I do sometimes get the colds/germs my kids bring home from school. I try to get them to wash their hands right when they get home but it doesn't always work.

Strange story here, hubby and I went on a 13 day cruise and all over the ship they had the hand sanitizers. We used them multiple times a day, and though we were on a ship with over 4,000 people we didn't get sick once. Some of the people we met got sniffles or down and out colds when on the ship or when they got home. So for me that trip did cement my feelings about washing frequently.

DH and I are fairly healthy and hardly ever get sick in winter. I didn't know if it's just luck We both get the flu shot every year and IMHO it seems to help. I have some co-workers that are constantly sick from October to April every year.
