I've been hearing many reports that the big storm may change the Presidential Election. What do you think? Why?

IF because of it there are problems with people getting out to vote, or voting precincts, maybe.. And if those who thought poorly of the President see how fast he declared them disaster and got FEMA in there it might swing undecided or on the fence Romney supporters...

I think the storm cost Sabrina DWTS. Inspite of a part of the country not being able to see the show this Monday night or vote. Who knows.. something that 'big' can indeed affect things.

I have to wonder how they will set up places to vote if public transportation is still unavailable and power is not restored by next week.

I've been wondering this myself.  I will say that right after the storm hit, I thought that the reaction of our current government means so much right now in relation to the election.  At this point, I really do think the main difference will come from voters not being able to reach the polls.

I agree. I think that if there are problems, they would be with people being able to get out to vote in areas that have been affected by the hurricane. I hope they're at least able to get the polls set up
