Do you have any traditions? Special foods?

As a Christian, we celebrate Easter. Egg casserole for breakfast is 'traditional'. For several years I baked an Easter braid.. a sweet bread with colored eggs entertwined. If I cook, it would either be ham or ham loaf.

We had a nice day too. Our daughter and her boyfriend and his two little ones went to a state park to the lodge to eat and then walked around.... Even the boyfriend admitted after it was 'awesome' and that he would do that every year! lol

As for the deck.. I am so ready to get my deck ready for summer. Love my deck!! But the furniture is still covered and pushed to the corners so as not to be blown away! lol

Yes! We had a wonderful get together. Unfortunately it was cold out so we couldn't get out and enjoy the deck but all in all, it was a very nice day.

When my children were little we always did the traditional Easter baskets, went to church then would come home to an early dinner and egg hunt. These days my children come over for our traditional dinner of ham, potato salad, deviled eggs, corn on the cob and Easter candy.
