It seems like the new healthcare law is the main topic of most conversations right now. From the website problems to unexpected dropped plans for thousands of people, it's being talked about by everyone. Have you been affected in any way? Have you visited the health exchange website? Any problems?

From my own personal experience, my family's healthcare coverage is going to be much better next year. It is going to cost us more as our premiums have increased but not nearly as drastic as what some are reporting.

We recieved a letter a few months ago that our insurance is grandfathered in and therefore we won't have most of what the ACA calls for. Our daughter could stay on till 26 and I think there are no limits now, but those things like screenings etc are not going to be covered.

So far there have been no changes at all to our plan. It renews next July so maybe we'll see something different then, but rumor has it that nothing is to change. Fingers crossed! I like our plan the way it is. :)
