My son and I went to the Christmas Tree Farm on Saturday and cut down a nice tree. We then took it home and decorated it, as well as I put up other finishing touches of Christmas in the living room. A wreath is next to the front door, but that is going to be it for us. My son asked why we didn't string lights around the outside of the house, and I had one phrase for that - "Too much work."
I got some stocking stuffers for the kids yesterday (I don't think they will ever get too old

It sounds like you are doing well; and that even though you have a few more things left to do, it is mostly done. I am undecided about cards this year - maybe I'll send a few, but I don't know for sure yet. I always think of the wasted paper (cards eventually get thrown away)

Shopping done. No baking only dh and I and we sure don't need all those goodies. Still need to get the tree up and wrap gifts. So we are getting there.

I have to get two gifts but know what I'm getting. It requires a drive to the nearest city and that isn't going to happen in the next day or two as we have an ice storm brewing. lol Other than that I just have to wrap.
Oh,btw, we got the daughter's bf a gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods as he's a real outdoorsy type.
