Christams was quiet here. No family lives close enough to see them for the holiday. We had a nice time though and a friend came over for dinner.

I got a Kindle for Christmas as well but Dh actually gave it to me in Nov. I love it!!
Yes quiet can be better than hectic for sure. I miss seeing my kids thought and grandsons.

My Christmas was very quiet. With no kids and my brothers all busy with their kids and grands, it's just the two of us. Dh spent the day continuing his project of scanning all our old negatives and slides into his computer. I watched a bit of TV, worked on my genealogy and cooked dinner. Sometimes I miss the excitement, but the quiet is nice, too.
