No, I don't need privacy to read, but I do like to read in the tub, now and then, and that couldn't possibly be good for a Kindle.

Dh chatters away at any time, since he's always here. I just prefer to have solitude when I'm really into a book.

Yes, I read in many other places. That's just the one that usually offers the most privacy. I'd be afraid of the humidity, too, especially if I wanted to read while soaking in the tub. Maybe I'd be best off sticking with large print books. LOL

I've thought about a Kindle, but I have a few problems with it. One is sanitation. If I leave it in the bathroom, I'd have to constantly wipe it down. With a newspaper, I can just toss it. I know, way TMI. LOL

Second, last year there were a couple of books that had problems of some kind (could have been copywrite, I just can't remember) and those that had been downloaded to Kindles were magically deleted! I hate the thought of
