Yes...you read that right. IMO it is absolutely shocking and this mom really has something wrong with her that cosmetic surgery is not going to fix! Read this:

If I was a comic strip character, you'd see all sorts of figures over my brain to indicate that I was having a major circuit breaker trip.

And our children have to go to school with the kids of nuts like this...absolutely insane isn't it? I feel sorry to the little girl that has to grow up with so much emphasis placed on her looks and the fact she could have surgeries to fix things. Wonder what kind of self esteem/self worth she is going to have.

It's mind boggling. I wouldn't let my 12 year old wear a bracelet that says "I heart boys" because I was concerned she is too young to be focusing on boys so I can't imagine pole dancing lessons...sheesh!

She doesn't have much, because of the environment she is growing up in.

Yeah-your daughter's case is totally different. My husband and I were just discussing the scars on our granddaughter and wondered how she would deal with them as she gets older.

In your dd's situation I definitely would help out with some surgery/scar removal if it was an option.

Karla,

At least most of the scars can be covered with shirts.
