Praised by Paleo Diet advocates and shunned by vegetarians, red meat certainly is a controversial food. And that controversy extends into the research world, where red meat and its impact on our health has been the subject of numerous studies…with conflicting results

You would think meat was bad when you read all the bad stuff about it.. Like its loaded with fat and cholesterol and all. I dont know but I only eat red meat when my body craves it.. So that is about twice a year.... I stick mostly to other kinds of food which are supposedly healthy but my cholesterol is still high..

.. I dont even eat nor like chicken or turkey..

I am not sure but I believe  my diet has helped me on the health journey but that is me..

I'm not a meat eater UNLESS the taste is covered up. For example, I can eat a small portion of steak IF I use lots of A-1 Sauce. (I love that stuff!) Same with ham - I eat it only when I have raisin sauce. (I rank that right up there with A-1 Sauce.) :smileyhappy: I refuse to even try to sample venison or any other wild meat. (I don't believe in hunting. It's not for food any longer - it's for sport.)
