Complain away. As you all have told me, it's what we're here for. I promise I won't judge. I'm sure the rainy gray weather is totally unhelpful. You just described what our entire winter is out here in Central CA. Many hugs to you!

thank you becky. i just was,and i am sick of not having sun. i really feel like it's still winter here in maine. here i am up at 4 am to do the flea m. and i've got the heat on. i'm usually tan by now, nope note this year. i feel like i'm still having the winter blue's.

at least i'll be out off the house today, that's a good thing. i'm a vendor at our local flea market, and it's outdoors one. it's 40 degree's. it should be 50's at night for this time of the year.

I have family and friends up in New Hampshire and Maine. I can understand, because of them, the cold. It's chilly here for this time of the year (though not that cold). Here, we have basically 2 seasons. 1: rain, fog, frozen fog, and gray skies...hardly ever any sun. 2: Sunny, hot, dry, no rain, sweltering hot (over 100+). All with maybe a month between each one to transition. I guess, though, it's why we have AC in our schools here. After growing up on the East Coast, and then living here for 13 years, I am finally gettting "cold" like a native in the winter. It's rarely below freezing, but our humid colds bite through you (and watch the frozen fog, it's worse than icing/sleet!). But snow? That's all yours. My 5 yr old has never seen snow.

Good luck today at the FM, and stay warm. Have a good day. Mine will be stressful, busy, hopefully fun, and "interesting". It's Olympic Day at school, (field day), so the last 2.5 hours of my day are outside with my 8th grade homeroom at the activities. This evening a friend nd I are going up to Sacramento to sit on the lawn of the Capitol (State of Emergency week for teachers). But first, I have to get through the morning, and wait to see how much trouble I am in for something I said to a student yesterday. (My vp already knows I said it., as I "confessed" yesterday.) Urgh. It just better be a fairly good day. Not sure I can take a 3rd bad one in a row.

Thanks for asking. There's another thread up that explains my last two days. They were terrible and included totaling my car.
