Hey Cheila,

feeling uprooted really adds to the depression and anxiety so I am real sorry you are having to cope with this on top of everything else.

Cheila, Sounds like you've got an awful lot on your plate. I am reminded of that wonderful cliche, "one thing at a time." I know some people hate to be told that but tha'ts just what I thought when I read your post. You can't tackle it all at once..that's just too much. Prioritize and take things one thing at a time. I know I hate that cliche too but it's true and it helps when I can work it. Best of luck to you. Hang in there.

Cheila.....I can empathize 100% with you. I lost my house too....got laid off....divorced. It all fell apart. I can remember sitting in that house crying w/such a strong ache in my heart over what my life turned into. I had everything and then one day it was ALL gone. I am also in my 40s so starting over is NOT easy. That was March 2011. Since, I have relocated to a new state and trying to put the pieces together.

I am unemployed and all I do is job search....fill out apps....send resumes. I'm like a robot. I don't even get excited about the jobs I find anymore. I've had a couple of interviews and I know the first one I failed because I, too, am battling depression. How can you feel happy and enthusiastic when depression tugs at your entire being?
