Life changes

It's been a little over two months since I moved and about one month since I started working full-time again. It feels so good to cook and clean in my own place and to perform substantive work like client intakes! I'm amazed at how my appetite has come back!

My friends have all commented on how much happier I sound simply by living on my own again and working. Apparently, it was fairly obvious I've been depressed these past two years :smileyhappy:.

But it's funny how life works. Just as I predicted, now that I'm living on my own, I've met someone who is apparently interested in me...

But one of the reasons I moved is bc I can't drive at night anymore. I'm waiting for a chance to see a specialist to rule out or confirm my suspicions. If I'm right, my world will turn upside down again. And he will likely break my heart...past experience with my community has been bad simply bc I can't get LASIK. The possibility of a significant other going blind eventually is not something most people can accept or live with. So my heart is being super cautious yet again. I wish I could just enjoy dating without these thoughts/concerns over my heart getting stomped on again. :smileysad:

I'm trying to stay positive, change my diet to increase intake of vit A (my diet is seriously lacking in it-guilty!) and live each day more fully and with more spontaneity. Last weekend's randomness taught me the beauty of life lived "going with the flow" rather than fully planned. I think that will be the 2013 live life more spontaneously, randomly.

You are just the best inspiration of anyone I have read about in a very long time.. You had the guts and the glory to change your life and continue on your incredible journey..There is no doubt you will make the best choice with new guy or whomever comes into your life..

I have also taken some steps in that I might be moving to the next state over.. I have some rental applications to fill out and if I get accepted will probably go.. I found an apt. building that looks like a good price with alot of amenities and things to do and laundry room and all of it. If its God;s will I will go.

Anyway; I was thinking.. Can you juice some carrots and apples. Loaded with vit. A and wont harm you. NO toxins in that. If you dont have a juicer then just boil them. Takes no time and tastes good..

I started taking Vit.D and it has helped with depression and other things.

I hope it all works out for you and you are doing so well. My hats off to you.

take care
