Hi, tobylady - I pointed out in another post that depressed people don't get casseroles from church, like people with broken bones or a heart attack or other injuries and illnesses.

I think that when you suffer from depression it is really hard to raise your hand and ask for help. Partly because there is a feeling of hopelessness, that nobody can actually help you, and also because there is a stigma around it. You look fine, so buck up little camper! Only those that have dealt with depression truly understand what it is to be physically unable to move because you are at rock bottom. Kudos to both of you for speaking out about it and helping others who aren't as comfortable discussing it with those that can help them.
