Weekend plans?
Sat, 04-20-2013 - 6:36pm

I tried to respond to messages you all recently posted on our board, but for some reason, it will not let me reply.  It will only let me create a new post.

What are you all up to this weekend?  How is everyone feeling?

I am currently at my in-laws house, so I am enjoying time to myself as grandma and grandpa are playing with my 4 and 8 year old children outside.  It has been a difficult past week, so it feels nice to not have any drama here and I can relax a bit.  We don't have any family where we live, so it is my hubby and mys7I.  No, I am no trying to complain.  I just like that every few months, kids play with grandparents and I can have some, "me" time which I have felt I needed.  Anyone else understandhat I am trying to say?  I love my childr

en so much!

Is anyone watching the continueing news about the Boston marathon?

I hope you all are having a good weekend.  Please remember, we are here if you need to vent or if you want to post what is going on in your life!

Sorry I missed this post!  DH has been home with bad sciatica and has been completely throwing off my schedule.

My weekend was pretty laid back.  I went to a conference at my church on Saturday and hung out in the church nursery on Sunday morning (I have tendonitis in both my ankles and couldn't make it up and down the stairs).  Went to my parents' house after to give DH a chance to rest.

This week has gone well until today.  I swam 600m continuously on Tuesday night and have been to the gym two days in a row, so I've been feeling very self-satisfied as well as physically and mentally energized.  Today is my day off, fortunately, since I feel like #$%& emotionally.  I didn't get out of bed until 10 this morning.  DH got DS1 ready for school all by himself and walked with all three boys to the bus stop.  I have to run some errands with DH and I REALLY don't want to, but it will probably be good to get out of the house.

This weekend we're having dinner with DH's oma.  I'm less than thrilled about that, frankly, but at least I can ask her to translate some dog commands into German for me.  I have an appointment with my psych on Friday and physio on Saturday.  Church on Sunday.  All in all, it should be pretty laid back, as well.  How does your coming weekend look to be shaping up?
