Reminding myself to eat

You'd think I would be hungry all the time but I'm not. I was in the begininng but now that my body is rather..err...large..I'm not.

The only time I'm seriously hungry is in the morning. The amount I can eat for breakfast is ridic!! Like i have to get up and eat asap..and I don't mean just a bowl of cereal or anything. I try to stretch it so I don't get overstuffed. I'll have some oatmeal and juice. Then give it an hour (if I can wait that long) and have something else.

The problem is that it takes so long to digest that I'm not hungry the rest of the day and I have to make a real conscious effort to eat!

My bf is a real breakfast, lunch and dinner type of guy. I'm like ugh everytime he mentions lunch and dinner. Breakfast is a must. Past that forget it. I'm doing it but here it is dinner time and I'm far from hungry.

So now my bf is ready for dinner. I guess that's my cue to make something  :smileytongue:

Hey sweetie,

I think a big breakfast is more important than forcing yourself to eat three times if you can't.  Just make sure you eat nutriciously beneficial foods which it sounds like you are doing.  Quality is the important key here. And remind yourself baby needs it, and so do you.

Can you drink a smoothie if you don't feel up to eating solid food?

Here it is morning and I'm already having greek apple yogurt plus the bf is making eggs and toast. That will hold me for about an hour lol :smileytongue:

I love smoothies and I have some tofuberry smoothies I'd like to make. I don't have a blender right now though. My blender died :/

Never ever give up hope! :smileyhappy:

Usually I don't bother with breakfast but this pregnancy is making it impossible to skip it. That's fine though cuz I was working on trying to get a decent breakfast everyday.

the ED mindset is still bothering me though. I'm so not used to listening to my body when its hungry. I'd rather ignore it :/

Hey Butterfly,

maintaining hope is a real good start to getting ED under control.

I can't eat in the mornings so I tend to have a smoothie.  It is much easier to drink and you can make a good, healthy drink.
