I seem to take baby steps forward and giant steps backward.  Sound familiar?

I look at it as a "Dance"...kind of like either a fast or a slow one...:smileywink:...

My dd has had her own issues.

She had one really great lady at the hospital who said what does it matter what dd was eating?...hello, dd was eating.

Now it is ALL the negativity from others.

"Crazy" and "Crazy-Making"...

She has been struggling with her weight and it is now helped by people who feel they have a "Divine" right to comment on anyone's appearance.

We wonder why there are issues, maybe we should realize it is very hard for anyone to deal with negative criticism.

Our kids girls and boys both are sent mixed messages about what's "Acceptable".

I wish people would just back off and mind their own business.

My dd gained weight from the medications she was on in the hospital.

She had lost a lot of weight due to being very sick.

After being in the hospital for a long time it was like to had to re-learn everything.

The rudeness she has experienced is beyond belief...:smileysad:...

I know she feels like for every step forward it's twice as many back.

Yup and it's very frustrating!

However, I don't think we're giving ourselves much credit in trying to measure those steps...backward or forward. The fact that we keep trying and take any steps at all shows progress.

Take it easy on yourself!! ((((((((HUG))))))))

I know exactly what you mean.  People seem to think they have the right to say what personal things they want , yet they never look at the damage it causes.

I never really looked at it that way, even one step forward is progress, isn't it. :smileyhappy:

Lately they feel like it's okay to ask if she is pregnant!!!

What is up with that?

My dd had lost a lot of weight before being hospitalized.

Then she gained a lot fast.

She had to be put on medication for that.

When she was released she was suposed to be on that medication but her after-care was horrible.

Now the doctor put her on it finally but even they were absolutely rude to her.

I know it's her medication and also she has found it really hard after being in the hospital so long, being homeless etc.

God these people are inhumane!

Why people feel it is OK to ask questions like that is totally beyond me , your poor DD.  And I find that even the medical professionals feel it is just fine to talk to people in any way they like.
