definitely. my job is half desk work, half taking machines apart. when i am at my desk for too long i get depressed. i need to do the hands-on work or i go nuts!

Oh I so know what you mean. I have a sit down job as well and I have to get up every so often to move or else I just feel so heavy and ugg by the end of the day.

have you ever seen the movie "office space"? i think that's what peter (the main character) did - traded his desk job for construction work.

absolutely; it's a classic! it was released in 1999, so you will definitely be able to find it on netflix, if you subscribe to that; it's also on comedy central or tbs occasionally. it's one of my favorite movies.
