If you're married, have you changed the form of contraception you & your spouse use?

Married --- LONG time married and yes, I stopped the pill after five years (Dr wasn't comfortable with the pill --- but that was way back when it was new, KWIM?) and took our chances with calendars and the like. No longer an issue as I'm well past the child-bearing age...

I didn't change the two times I was in a long-term committed and live-in relationship. I'd always wanted to use an IUD, but my gyn discouraged it because I'd not had children and was open to having them.

Since I am not yet menopausal though technically peri-menopausal, should I enter a committed and live-in relationship, I'd probably use the IUD as I don't think I'd want to start having children at my age ;-)
