Nuvaring Ooopps!

Hi everyone!
I've been on Nuvaring for more than 5 years straight without fail. The holidays have really disorganized me and I completely forgot to refill my nuvaring perscription. I took out my ring last Sunday (11/21) and I'm "supposed" to put it in this Sunday (11/28). Since I forgot to refill, I will more than likely get it on Monday (11/29). Would it make a difference if I insert my ring on Monday instead of Sunday? Will I still be protected? Help PLEASE!

I think you'll probably be fine, but you may want to use a back up method for the first week.
I ovulated within 48 hours of the day I was supposed to insert my next nuvaring, so I say DEFINITELY use a back-up method for the first week or two.
