Stopped taking BC pills, what to expect?

Hi there,

Im 24 and have just stopped taking my pills.I've been on the pill since I was 15 for contraceptive purposes. Now my bf and I have decided I will stop taking them and we are simply going to see what happens :) Well what I am wondering is, I have been on the pill for so long, I don't know what to expect off the pill. I never had side affects while on the pill, didn't gain an ounce, no sore/swollen breasts, nothing. Only thing that changed was my periods became alot lighter and lasted for only 3 days.Which I am not complaining about lol I have no idea when to expect my period, I have no idea on a calendar when it arrives, I have always just used the pill pack for keeping track, so I've kept one as a refrence lol Anyways, can I expect any changes in my body/mood now that

Hey their pink, excellent question you've posed. What any woman may experience after going off the pill could vary widely since we're all so different. Did you consult your doctor prior to stopping them? That's usually your best source of info on what to expect. I personally have never gone off of the pill so I'm hoping some of the ladies here will chime in with their experiences.
