I wasn't sure what board to post this to, so I decided to post it on several different boards.

I'm really sorry your girlfriend is going through that. She must be pretty scared. Thinking good thoughts for her and hope they figure out what's going on!

Hi my gf has been having right abdominal pain for over a month and half. Started off in her lower right abdomen and it seems to radiate down her leg and up her back. As of today pain seems to be travelling up to her lungs and even her ear. She had a marina iud put in about 3 months ago but got it removed when this pain started occurring desperately trying to do anything to make this pain go away becuz all tests come back as negative. She is in the hospital for the 6th time as im writing this and she was there last night over night. They have done multiple ultra sounds, xrays, they examined her colon and everything comes back negative. She has no infection either.

She is still in

If it is your IUD I didn't feel anything when I had mine remove.

The swab will tell you if you have an infection.

That's a good point! I saw a Mirena commericial tonight and it mentioned cysts and pelvic inflammatory disease,

I have a history of ovarian cysts and I have had a similar problem lately. Same side as you as well. My GI says I torn an abdominal muscle and now he thinks something more is going on but the point to my response is dont let it get to you if everything is normal. I get an awful tugging sensation in my lower right abdomen. My ultrasound said I had multiple small cysts in each ovary but the Dr says that cant cause the pain so I am interested to know what happens.

For two years I was in pain and a GI specialist said I had IBS. I knew he was wrong but no test would show it, well I went to a different doctor and within 5 days he had figured out my gallbladder had failed and it had already been taken out.

Don't give up. Let us know how you are feeling.
