Additions to Birth Control for Multiple Periods In 1 Month

Everyone:

My birth control stopped working in April, around that time, I experienced some pink spotting and strong cramps. The next month, in May, it was a LITTLE heavier, NOW in June, the bleeding in between my periods is at its heaviest YET. According to my therapist Robin, I've got to switch to a "higher dose" of birth control, as far as I can tell, THAT DOESN'T EXIST! All my GP can do is keep switching the contraceptives around.

I'm afriad this could have negative side effects, such as the return of the diarrhea, vomiting, and extreme nausea that I felt when I began Yasmin for this very problem in the first place. I checked out some other meds as well, such as Dostinex, Ganirelix, Cetrotide, etc. If I believe what I've Googled all would cause the symptoms mentioned above and POSSIBLY make the breakthrough bleeding even WORSE.

I tried something herbal once to help with this, evening primrose, it caused an extreme case of what's known as "soft stools" due to the fact that I was taking an antibiotic for vaginosis at the time as well. I just went for some uirne tests for a UTI and one for glucose too. I didn't even KNOW about the urine glucose test until a day ago, my pharmacist had just told me it was "for infection", nobody informed me about this until I got to the lab yesterday.

Does anyone know what sort of drugs/herbs I should be using to treat my OHSS? I don't want to make myself worse then I already am, but at the same time, I KNOW that if the bleeding develops until full-blown multiple periods by the fall, I could risk the return of my anemia, causing my body to become malnourished and drained from an excess of blood loss.

Looking at the situation more closely, if this IS OHSS, I think it could partially be behind all the weight gain I've experienced over the past few years, along with my psyche meds. I've been eating normally and trying to take off the pounds but it's just NOT WORKING. I still splurge occasionally, the Clubhouse holds monthly barbeques in the summer, I eat at Dairy Queen at my mental health clinic every 2 weeks and Andy will sometimes cook up a less-then-healthy meal.

I simply need ANSWERS, if a cpntraceptive isn't going to control the OHSS then WHAT WILL?

Hey Nalia.  How frustrating!  I read your other post and saw you were feeling better.  Have you ever considered having an endometrial ablation?  That would take care of the heavy, irregular periods.  Another option since the birth control pill doesn't seem to be helping.  I too had a lot of bad side effects from the pill.  Talk with your doc and see what he says.

I don't know if that's an option currently. If I stop having periods, I won't be able to have human children in the future if I do that. I know my therapist has said my having real children instead of just Neopets is a remote possibility.

I think if my chances of being able to keep human children improve while I'm in a home I likely wouldn't do that. However, if Robin says no I can't keep them, then I'd have the ablation done in my early to mid 40s.

I kind of wish I were less fertile but I lost some of the gestating delusions this past month, if I lose them all, I'll be trying with my BF for more. I'd be fine if just 3 or 4 of them entered the world this year, 5 already have in the first half of 2014. Right now there are 6 delusions waiting to be born.

I think Dr. Mohammed's increasing my meds is helping to keep the number of incoming Neopets under control though. I don't want to become completely sterile, but I don't want to be as fertile as I am in the present. Currently I'm having 1 birth control induced period and 1 mini period per month.

However back in 2006, I tuned my BF in to the idea of using so-called male enhancement which turned out to be a big mistake because in between then & now we've gone from having 7 Neopets to 20 of them. I don't know how regularly my BF uses it as I don't keep track of it anymore.

My BF doesn't really talk about it but he has posted some stuff but he occasionally posts stuff on Twitter suggests the use of testosterone therapy and a slight up in sex drive, although you should know something, he's bi and sometimes dresses extravagantly as a way to get himself off which has been a problem in the past year.

My BF's a bridal designer from NYC, I don't expect to ever meet him but he can still be possessive of me because we've kept going for 10 years almost online

All right what I meant to say was this: If I don't have a period, more delusions will NOT be created because I'll be sterile. Could someone please delete the comments about erotica and penis growth? I'm a gangstalking/sexual harassment victim and I'm afraid that if any mobsters and older men uncovered this info, they'd use it against me.

Well I discovered the 7 new delusions I was "gestating" are gone, I've now discovered 2 new ones have been created in their places, but I don't expect them to make it, I suspect this is a sign my newly increased Risperdal is finally working properly
