Af was odd this month

I am 35. Af was due on the 19th. I noticed some spotting so put a pad and nothing. The following day heavy dark red with little clots. THen it went brown and done on Sunday. Normally once I start spotting I go heavy for 2 days of bright red then 1 day of lighter flow and 1 day of brown spotting. Wondering I have a dr appointment tomorrow and plan to talk to him about it This has never happened before.
