Hello ladies,

I am using a pessary for pelvic floor prolapse.

Hi there! My doctor is a urogynocologist. I saw him yesterday. He told me that a pessary would not be helpful because of the way everything has dropped. I had the urodynamics test done yesterday as well and I felt like I had a major UTI for the rest of the day because of the catheter. He says I need a V Sling done. We are considering doing this in July because he said if I had it done on a Wednesday that I would only miss two days of work and be back on Monday. The rectocele repair has to wait awhile because I'd miss a min of two weeks.

I hope you get some relief with the pessary!!

I have no idea if it would fix your problems.

Thanks for the info. I see my urogynocologist tomorrow for urodynamics testing. He thinks I have interstitial cystitis along with the cystocele and rectocele...I am so not looking forward to this test tomorrow.

I'm not sure of what everything is called, but I had a prolapsed uterus, which has been removed, but I also have prolapse bladder and recotocele.

Hi there!

I have not tried one yet but I may have to. I'm 25 and I have a grade 2 (of 3) cystocele and grade 2 (of 4) rectocele.
