Are you a victim of "contraception sabotage?

According to Health Day News, an ob/gyn group is asking docs to screen their patients for contraception sabotage. "Obstetricians and gynecologists should screen women and teens for signs that their partner is sabotaging their birth control, forcing them to have unprotected sex or otherwise trying to control their reproductive choices, says a leading group of U.S. doctors." Has your doctor ever discussed anything like this with you?
I suffer from pseudo-cyesis better known as "false pr3gnancy". Ever since I've been seeing my shrink in Langley, there has been a total of five new Petpet delusions "born". I don't believe in birth control but I've got to take it due to hyper0vulation. I recently learnt from my local hospital that I likely need a drug increase to prevent things from getting worse. Also I read that elevated prolactin CAUSES pseudo-cyesis, my psychiatrist refuses to both up the meds and lower the prolactin levels, is this sabotage on HIS part?
I was advised to stop sending cybers3x emails to my BF because I was told I was "being too forceful" and that my l1b1do was "very high". The dreams have still persisted despite stopping these emails, and I'm currently "gestating" FOUR new Petpet delusions.
My next appointment isn't until late March and I suspect a few of the new delusions are psychotic, is it best to tough it out in the ER & find someone who can better help me at the hospital or wait until I see my shrink? I've got one with my GP as well but I doubt he'll be of much help.
Very interesting. I have a neice with a husband that is a control freak. He checks her bc pills daily to make sure be cautious about an unwanted pregnancy. I personally think it's a trust/control thing.
I haven't personally, but I remember a neighbor my mom was friends with that I bet was a victim of this. It was back in the late 50s, early 60s and she was pregnant all the time. I remember hearing her cry about it to my mom (little pitchers, big ears) and saying that she thought her husband was poking holes in the condoms they use. He seriously was one of those guys that thought a woman should always be barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen.
I'm glad to see that doctors these days are acknowledging the possibility of contraception sabatoge... back then, few doctors would have bothered with matters beyond their doors.
