OK, so a little over a week ago my boyfriend and I had sex. (It was a day after I finished my cycle) and he discovered I was bleeding. Nothing hurt, but I was bleeding bright red thin blood. I thought maybe I just wasn't done with my period, so I put a tampon in, but when I checked it later there wasn't much blood on it at all. I didn't bleed any the following day. Two nights after that we tried again, and yet again, I started bleeding the same bright red thin blood. So we stopped, and said we would wait a while before doing it again.
I was diagnosed with HPV in April, but the doctor told me that the kind I had, I just needed to have yearly pap smears. I haven't had any problems since then, until now. I don't know if its related or not, but I felt that it was pertinent information to disclose.
My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months and I was tested after we had already been together for a few months, so I know I'm clean as car as other stds go.
A few days ago, I noticed doe white clumpy discharge on my panties. It didn't really smell, but it definitely wasn't anything like I normally have,.so I chalked it up as a yeast infection. I tried monistat 1 two days ago. The day I took it, I laid down for a few hours and then I got up and did a couple of things around the house but mostly laid around and some of the product got on my panties. It's not two days later, and I went to check if there is still discharge inside me and I had a lot of chunky white stuff, still.

Does if take more than a couple of days to cure even with the one day treatment? Di the product spilling out cause it not to work? I don't have any other symptoms. No itching, burning, etc. Just bleeding after sex and then a few days later the discharge. What do you think?

Hi there! Have you ever had a yeast infection before? It's almost always accompanied by itching. If you have not been diagnosed before, it's unwise to self treat. Just as a side note, don't ever use the 1 day treatments. They can do more harm than good.

Are you on the pill? What do you guys use for birth control?

It does sound like something is going on and it should be looked at. Bleeding at abnormal times should always be checked out.
