I am 30 will be 31 in March.  I haven't had my period since 01/13.  My gyno says my hormone levels are very low and that I need to start hormone therapy.  I have googled this many different ways buy can only find information for women above 40 in menopause and women with cancer.  I am just wondering a little more information about this.  She re did the blood work and wants me to talk to an actual doctor (shes a nurse practioner or something like that) once the results come back.  I just want to know what I am looking forward to with hormone therapy.  What is it?  What can I expect? Is there anyone my age that has been through this that can tell me a little bit about it?  I have had twins as well as one loss pregnancy. (11 and 10 years ago).  Thank you in advance.

Hi there!

Unfortunately, I don't know much about Hormone Replacement Therapy.  If you haven't had a cycle, you aren't ovulating.  Which means your body isn't producing estrogen and progesterone like it should. At your age, that's not good for your body.  Hopefully they will find out why as well.  Definitely talk with a doctor and hopefully he/she can answer your questions.

Sorry I couldn't help!
