Long period...I think.
Mon, 06-30-2014 - 5:42pm

So I started my period about two weeks ago it was lighter than normal. Well after 7 days it got lighter and I thought it was the residual blood toward then end. Well here it is two weeks later and it hasnt stopped. Its not enough to wear a pad per say but every so often I feel it running out and its just enough to spot my undewear. I was on depo for 7 years ( I know I know) but have been off of it for two. For the longest time my periods were not normal in time or flow then i had three normal, predictable periods in a row. Now I have this one that hasnt ended. When I pee there is alot of blood but I dont think it's a bladder infection because I have no pain or anything. Just in case I have been drinking tons of water but it hasn't let up. I'm kinda freaked out and I'm temporarly living in the small town due to my husband job. I have a problem with male gyno's so I called several offices of female Gyno's and they are all booked for months. I've had bad experince with  inexperinced docs and I dont want to go to urgent care any suggestions.

Have you been able to get in to see someone? Sounds like an abnormal period but it should definitely be checked out. Could be an ovarian cyst. Could be you aren't ovulating after coming off of Depo. If you can, start charting your cycles. This involves taking your temperature every morning and charting it on a graph. Here's more information: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/Presentations/ChartingBasics/ This site is often used for those trying to get pregnant but anyone can use it. I used it to chart my cycles for years in order to not get pregnant! Hope you get some answers!

If you are passing blood every time you pee, you really need to go to urgent care if nothing else. That is not normal and not something you should wait around to see what happens.
