Multiple Follicular Cysts in both ovaries...

Hi, so I'm 24 years old and I've had a lot of medical issues but most have been resolved...but last week I developed this ache in my lower right side accompanied by horrible dizzy spells and nausea. Now I don't have an appendix or gallbladder anymore so luckily it wasnt too nerve wracking but the pain continued and so did the nausea. The dizziness passed.

So after a week I went to my doctor because nothing was working to get rid of it. I tried drinking more fluids, taking fiber...you name it. Well, they said I needed an ultrasound since I've had ovarian cysts before. I had a dermoid cyst removed in 2007, and a 4cm cyst removed surgically in 2008 with my appendix. The ultrasound said

"

CLINICAL HISTORY: Pelvic pain

The uterus has a normal appearance with a length of 8 cm. The
endometrium has a width of 9 mm, which is within normal limits in
regards to the patient's menstrual cycle. Both ovaries were
well-visualized via the transvaginal approach. Both ovaries have a
length of about 3.5 cm. They contain small follicular cysts. There
are no suspicious masses in the adnexa and there is no free fluid in
the lesser pelvis.

IMPRESSION: EXAMINATION WITHIN NORMAL LIMITS."

I don't understand this. I have access to my records online, its through the hospital system and the nurse never mentioned the presence of cysts. She said she didn't know why I was having pelvic pain. Does this make sense? She told me I need to see a gynecologist this week though and if I couldnt get in this week she would call them herself...but never said why except that I should get a PAP smear and a check up...but...

I'm confused. Wouldn't the cysts explain this awful pain? I wanted to slam my head into a wall this afternoon when the pain got so bad I felt so nauseated I almost left work today.

Someone please help? The pain radiated to my lower back and is now on the left and right pelvic region as of yesterday...and it seems to get worse by the day.

Follicular cysts are normal and don't cause pain--they are a normal part of egg development.

Woops I didn't get any notification that anyone replied to this post. I am hoping the cysts are gone now but from the normal colonoscopy I am def leaning towards a gyno reason for the pain.
