I was told to come in with a full bladder and that they would do an external, internal, then inject the saline.

I'm sorry it hurt so much, but I'm glad you made it through and it is over. It sounds like our experiences are very similar with SIS. Did they do a biopsy when you were there? I had a biopsy during the SIS process and am glad that I did. The doctor didn't expect to find anything, but I saw him earlier this week for the results and it explains my bleeding. The biopsies show that my uterine lining is in 4 different stages which is why the bleeding never stops. As soon as one section of my lining stops shedding, another sections starts and that keeps the processing going week after week. I'm waiting to hear from the surgical coordinator, but I'm going to have a DNC in late November or early December. If you decide to have the DNC and it is before me, I would love to hear about your experience. I don't know of anyone who has had it done and I didn't get much of an explanation from my doctor so I'm worried about having it done.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Sorry it was so painful! Sounds like they didn't really come up with an answer. More of a guess and that's frustrating! Have you thought more about what you want to do? It's all very confusing I'm sure.

So happy you got an answer! I know there are ladies here who have had a DNC. Try putting a new post out there. Hopefully someone will share their experience.

Izzy, how interesting on the four different stages.
